The Photographer
I'm originally from Washington, DC. I traveled to California during the pandemic to pursue art where I discovered my love of photography and the love of my life whom I married in 2024, my beautiful wife Leslie. I've been fortunate to have my work featured in multiple magazines, books and newspapers and had the great honor of serving as a photojournalist and correspondent for the Sacramento Observer the year we were named as the #1 Black Newspaper in the country. I hosted the nationally syndicated radio program and podcast called "The Verbal Show". I'm a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy, where I was awarded a medal for marksmanship. I served as Vice Chair of the Sacramento Children's Fund Planning & Oversight Commission and on the Board of Directors for Access Sacramento.
My approach
I try to tell a complete story in every frame. I rely on getting the perfect shot in camera to minimize editing. I like vibrant colors, sharp crisp edges, and depth of field. I aim to make every image identical to what I actually saw.
